Cooking sauce:  charcoal, mesquite, Hickory, wood of your choice, or gas or electric, may be lit to a moderate cooking temperature, or amber looking glow to your heat source.  Lay meat of choice on grill.  Begin brushing a light coat of Texican Barbeque Sauce to the upper side of meat.  DO NOT RUSH!  Pace yourself as you oscillate turning the meat.  Turn your meat painting sauce each time you turn it to the upper side.  Cook to YOUR perfection.  EAT!!!

 

Salads and Sides

 Garden Salad of your choice, your choice of Vinaigrette salad dressing. Lightly sprinkle some Texican Barbeque Rub over the body of the salad.  Sprinkle some Texican Rub over some Sour Croute cook and serve. “This is so much more than just a great Bar-B-Que sauce with an outstanding flavor! We use it so many ways:  As an addition to other sauces and marinades.  As a light rub for meat, chicken or fish. Appetizers/Hors d’oeuvre / Botanas

Cream Cheese package with 1 to 2 oz. of either Texican Barbeque Sauce or Rub do not add both, over indulgence is a sin and overkill on the palate.)

Sharp Cheddar Cheese with a teaspoon of either Texican Barbeque Rub or Fast Rub, melted together.  Serve as a dip.

Ranch Salad Dressing with a sprinkle of Texican Barbeque Rub make a lavish relish tray adds some Ranch or Blue Cheese with 1 ounce of Texican Barbeque Sauce.

Open Pit Barbeque Grilling Cooking a barbeque has similar formulas:  a fire, a grill, or a pit grill for equipment.  It depends what your concept of authenticity is to cook in your choice of meat sources or vegetables.  It is, however,  cooking to your heart’s contentment only to follow with eating after cooking it. The following is just a few good recipes that have been shared by people who have gone beyond the barbeque pit / grill and inside the kitchen.

Hamburgers

Generously sift Texican Fast Rub to two hamburger patties on the outer sides and  sandwich in the middle of the two patties a slice of cheese, compress patties, and grill to your perfection.   Yummy!  Likewise, sprinkle on steaks, for fast grilling. Texican Fast Rub is fast seasoning and grilling or cooking Seasoning. Marinating is not required, but can add to the dimension of taste.

 

 

Stove Top Skillet Dish

  • 1 – 2 Lbs. of meat cutlets of beef, chicken, or pork
  • 4 oz. canned tomatoes
  • 1 ounce of Texican Rub
  • 2 Cups of water
  • (For added color and nutritional value add either fresh or canned mixed vegetables.) Simmer, allow the meat and spices to marinade over low medium temperature and cook until a thick broth-like consistency.  In the Hispanic culture this is known as a “Guiso.”  Brown some ground Beef / Chicken / Turkey add a 16oz. jar of Texican Barbeque Sauce and water.   Simmer to a rich casserole or simmer liquid portion to a low rich thick consistency and serve over a bun like Sloppy Joes.

Crock Pot Beef or Chicken

Your choice of meat in a crock pot and a generous amount of Sauce only, (Do Not Add Water) and allow to cook very slowly while at work, come home and enjoy

Chicken / Prosciutto Picatta a la Texican BBQ Sauce Pound Chicken Breast thin about a 4 X 5 inch slice and paint a thin layer of Texican Barbeque Sauce. Sprinkle some powdered sage spice and lay a thin slice of prosciutto dry cured Ham slice. Sandwich the top layer with a 4 X 5 inch slice of pounded Chicken Breast and paint a thin layer of Texican Barbeque Sauce, cook at 350 degrees F. to perfection.  By Dr. Trace Alexander, Doctor of Chiropractic

Apetito’s Texican Chili

Cook beans of choice.  Add a small portion of bacon strips or salt pork.  Rapid boil for 30 minutes adding water as you may need to.  Add 1 Lb.of chili meat.  Add 1 16 Oz. jar of Texican Barbeque Sauce for the spices.  That will be all the spices you will need, besides salting to your desire, since our ingredients are naturally low in fat, sodium and sugar and HAVE NO ADDED artificial preservatives or fillers of any kind.

 

 

Beans

Cook the beans and meat to a hearty amount of time, as beans take their course.  When the aroma fumigates the sense of hunger pangs, it will be time to, EAT, eating to your heart’s content.

Slow Cooker Chili

  • 1 (16 Oz) Texican Barbeque Sauce
  • 2-4 cans of Beer
  • Chili Meat
  • Bell Peppers (Red and Yellow.)
  • Cook all night or day. In the morning, or 6 hours later, add some cornstarch in 2 Oz. of water and add to each one for thickening.  Cook longer, about an hour, and serve.

 

Texican Proud Chili / Crock Pot or Slow Cooker

  • 1 (16 Oz.) Texican Barbeque Sauce
  • 4 Cans of Beer
  • Chill Meat
  • Bell Peppers (Red and Yellow)
  • Beans (small bag)
  • 4 Med Size Jalapeno Peppers (Whole and uncut) (Do not cut up, let them cook whole)
  • 6-10 Habanero Peppers (Whole and uncut)

Cook all night or day. In the morning, or 6 hours later, add some cornstarch in 2 Oz. of water and add to each one for thickening.  Break or cut open, in the pot, the peppers.  Cook longer, about an hour, and serve.   

  • Pork Shoulder
  • 1 (16 Oz.) Texican Barbeque Sauce
  • 4 Cans of Beer
  • Bell Peppers (Red and Yellow)
  • 2 Stalks of Celery
  • 2 Large Carrots Whole

Briquette or pork shoulder (clean or trim excess fat off) let cook whole and undisturbed.  Cook all night or day. In the morning, or 6 hours later, add some cornstarch in 2 Oz. of water and add to each one for thickening.  Remove meat out and on a separate dish totally pull apart and place back in pot stirring.  Cook longer, about an hour, and serve.
